that's what they say, and they may be right. Let me start this out by saying that I have been a fan of Uncle Tupelo, and Wilco since 1991 and always will be. But something has changed. I have probably seen wilco 5 or 6 times and they have all been incredible, and Friday night was no exception. But, it was different.
Let's just put it this way..I think that Jeff and I broke up. It seemed as though St. Louis was "just another city" that they were playing. I didn't feel a connection between Jeff and the Lou. I don't expect the other band members to stroke our egos, but, I think we have earned the right from Jeff. I feel like he has forgotten his roots.
THIS JUST IN..Ok, my friend Ben (the republican)went to all three shows and just told me that the Saturday Night show was much better and that he gave props to the lou, as he should. Good to know, I may take him back...but it will be a long road to recovery. I think for now, we'll just be friends.
