Tonight, I was having my evening snack of Applejacks, and started to reminisce about my childhood. Oh, the days when I could start my day amped up on a bowl of sugar instead of coffee..it was so much easier then. Anyway, I started to wonder, what exactly is an Applejack? What does it mean? Who are these so called "Applejacks?"
Because I am a word junkie, I just had to figure it out. I came to the conclusion that an AppleJack must be "one who picks apples" (give me a break, I grew up in the concrete jungle) Just to prove to myself that I was indeed correct, I looked it up on the web. As I googled, I couldn't believe it, there was no reference to "one who picks apples.". It is actually a brandy that is flavored like apples. What? Who knew? I don't even like brandy, but this might explain my early love of alcohol.
Then it occurred to me..if we can do this with Brandy, why not expand it to other flavors of alcohol. Some ideas are:
Scotchums
Rummy Flakes
Honey Nut Guinness Oats
Beerios
Colada Clusters
Wow, I think I have really stumbled upon something. Alcohol inspired cereals...Brilliant!
I always knew that Breakfast was the most important meal of the day!
