Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 4th Wedding Anniversary, we have been together for 7 years, but made it official 4 years ago. This is a pic of us on our honeymoon in Costa Rica.

The thing I love about our relationship is that we really are best friends.We were just saying last night that we love the fact that we really are each others sidekick and have so much fun when we go out together. I guess you could say that we aren't your typical couple, we rarely go out without each other. When we first met, I mentioned to him that my soul mate would have a record player and a collection of classic vinyl (among other critical characteristics), without knowing that he had it. I couldn't believe it, it is such a random thing.

We have so much in common, but are also very different in a lot of ways. Like he is a realist and firmly has his feet on the ground, and I am what you might call an Idealist. My mind tends to wonder and sometimes I have a hard time keeping my eye on the ball. Conversely, since he is such a realist, he sometimes has a hard time taking a leap of faith and I'd like to think that I encourage him to take a hold of his dreams. I believe that sometimes you have to try things without knowing the definite outcome, it's the journey that matters. Trust thy self!

I'm really proud of Eric in so many ways, but most proud that this year he is starting school to obtain his Masters in Guidance Counseling. It makes me so happy that his is realizing his dreams and following them. He will be amazing with the kids and has a real talent in communicating with them.
